BP® BPower trousers 1466-560-52
310 grams of canvas plus Teflon-coated Cordura. The line is called BPower, and that is not marketing — it is the heaviest fabric in the catalogue. The specific version is WORK TROUSERS 1466-560-52.
Model 1466-560-52: Fabric: 65% polyester, 35% cotton canvas, approx. 310 gsm. Trim: Cordura® with a water-repellent Teflon coating.
Canvas is a dense plain weave used for things that have to hold. Here it is 310 grams per square metre: heavier than anything else in the BP range. This is clothing for conditions where ordinary workwear tears rather than wears.
The loaded zones are trimmed with Teflon-coated Cordura®. The Teflon repels dirt and water: a drop rolls off instead of soaking in, and dust does not work into the structure.
Construction
Cordura® knee pad pockets for BP® 1839 knee pads. Hammer loop. Cordura® folding rule pocket. Thigh pocket with flap and an applied phone pocket. Two back pockets with flap and press stud, half-vault style.
Adjustable BP Flex stretch gusset: the fit adapts to the body, and the ergonomic cut does not pull when working in a squat.
Design detail: the garments carry reflective piping. This is a trim feature rather than a protective property — they have not been tested to EN ISO 20471 and are not high-visibility clothing.
Who it suits
Construction, installation, road works, forestry, heavy industry, municipal plant — anywhere clothing takes a beating.
What this is not
Professional workwear, not protective equipment. No protection against fire, electric arc, chemicals or cuts.
