BP® Work Trousers 1885-585-51 with Cordura® Reinforcement

WORK TROUSERS 1885-585-51 is a specific version of this workwear idea. Fabric wears out where it rubs. Here those places are reinforced with polyamide — and the trousers outlast two ordinary pairs.

Ordinary work trousers do not die all at once. First the knees go through, then the pocket corners where the rule and the knife sit, then the hem against the boot. The rest of the cloth is still sound — but the garment is finished.

Here Cordura® is applied to exactly those zones: a polyamide fabric with abrasion resistance several times that of ordinary blended cloth. The main body stays a breathable blend, while the loaded points last as long as it does.

Pockets designed around tools, not hands

A double waist button — the fit adjusts more precisely than with one. Roomy side pockets plus additional patch pockets on the outside. Thigh pockets with flap and press stud, half-vault style: nothing falls out when you bend. Built-in compartments for a folding rule, phone and pen — set into the garment rather than sewn on. The back pocket closes with a press stud.

Cordura® loops for BP® holster pockets 1051 and 1054, mountable front or back as preferred. The holster pockets are ordered separately.

Industrial laundering

Designed for a professional laundry, not only for domestic washing. Deep soiling comes out on a high-temperature cycle, which the fabric withstands.

What this is not

Professional workwear, not protective equipment. No protection against fire, electric arc, chemicals or cuts, and not high-visibility clothing.
